NEW EXPERIENCE THIS SUMMER of 2020

LUTHER PARK’S CAMP AT HOME
Elim Families “Go to Camp” in a new way this summer!
The theme for this camp is: Called to Care

What’s included in this box?
5 different focuses for 5 different weeks:
Week 1 (June 29) Called to Care for Self
Week 2 (July 5) Called to Care for Others
Week 3 (July 13) Called to Care for Creation
Week 4 (July 20) Called to Care for Peace
Week 5 (July 27) Called to Care for Transformation

The box includes a themed craft, a Bible activity, different family activities, and a weekly challenge for each week. And some fun bonuses like Luther Park recipes, fun camp crafts and other activities that will keep campers engaged. Each week the campers can participate in a ZOOM call (possibly more than 1 depending on interest) where counselors will be playing different games and hosting different activities for the campers. ALSO, each week there will be videos posted on our YouTube, website and Facebook page that introduces the week, has specific songs/worships, and other things the staff are coming up with to tie in the theme of that week. Instructions for this will be found in the box.

TO DO: You can pick up your boxes from the Elim ‘s atrium located by the office entrance on Sunday, June 28 from 1-4pm. If you are unable to pick your box during this time, please let Pastor Dan know and we will figure out another option. NEXT, at the end we plan on doing a Social Distance Root-beer Float Party the last week of July to celebrate our summer. Please look for this date as the weeks go on.

Please register your family HERE so we can have the correct amount of supplies in each box.  Luther Park looks forward to connecting with your campers and providing this unique camp experience this summer!

Jr. & Sr. High “TREE HOUSE CAMP” | Usually the 3rd week in June | Luther Park Camp, Danbury, WI | For Grades 7-12
Known as Night Owl Camp to many, campers experience all the natural resources Luther Park has to offer with hands-on environmental education activities relating to all of God’s creations but in a new “light.” See and hear the sights and sounds of the great north woods in the dark by staying up late and of course, sleeping in in the morning. In this outpost program, youth spend a week in rustic tree houses, working together to grow in a relationship with God, the environment and each other. This adventure will challenge and strengthen campers in all aspects of life. They will have the opportunity to cook over an open fire, explore, get dirty, get away from the crowd and have a ton of fun in God’s great outdoors! A bathhouse with flush toilets, hot and cold running water, and showers are available. BONUS FOR 2019: A mini-leadership training course will be added to week 1 only. Campers can expect to learn and gain new leadership skills along with gaining new environmental knowledge. These skills will be put into practice at camp, too!

Summer Festival Camp

Every day, speakers share inspiring stories about real life, Jesus, and how the two intertwine. The days are packed with fun surprises of all kinds. Music, videos, the games, the speakers, and club – Summer Festival Camp really has something for everybody. This summer, see what life can really be. Come to camp and experience what really matters: God, good friends, making memories and lots of laughs.  Contact Pastor Dan Doerrer to register your son or daughter.  For more information visit: www.summerfestivalcamp.com.
