CHURCH COUNCIL NOMINEE FORMS AVAILABLE
You might be the ideal new council member this year! The church council is the governing board of our congregation.  It guides the overall direction of our ministries and approves congregational policies & budget.  The church council typically meets for two hours on the third Tuesday evening of every month.  Council members are encouraged to participate in a variety of Elim activities but are not expected to attend any specific events outside of the monthly meeting.  This is not a popularity contest or public election.  A nominating committee has been established to privately and prayerfully discern which candidates might provide the ideal leadership at this time and given one’s unique background or experience.  Nomination forms are available at the name tag tables at each entrance.  Please complete it and drop it off in the office or give it to one of the pastors.  Call Pastor Dan for more information: 612-695-8453.

CONSIDER BEING A PLEDGING OR SUSTAINING MEMBER
We are asking everyone in our community to prayerfully consider your financial support of Elim Lutheran Church when making your charitable giving plans for 2020.  We encourage Elim households to consider becoming Pledging or Sustaining Members at any time and at any level that fits your household’s capacity for giving. Pledging Members are those who have turned in a pledge card with an estimated amount of their household’s financial support for the coming year.  Sustaining Members have set up a reoccurring electronic contribution. Pledge cards are available at either entrance.  eGiving is available for setup on our website at www.elim-robbinsdale.org/giving.  Contact the church office for information at 763-537-8481 or office@elim-robbinsdale.org.

PRAYER OF THE DAY
Lord God, your lovingkindness always goes before us and follows after us. Summon us into your light, and direct our steps in the ways of goodness that come through the cross of your Son, Jesus Christ, our Savior and Lord.
Amen.
