WORSHIP SERVICES

VIRTUAL WORSHIP HERE

At this time, Elim is worshiping online only.
All group gathering have been suspended.

During this time of uncertainty and anxiety, gathering with others to hear the gospel and engage in communal worship can bring spiritual comfort and strength. However, the safety and well-being of each other is a higher priority.

We have moved our worship services to online only and suspended all group gatherings.  Elim small groups including bible studies, ministry circles and leadership boards will communicate with their individual participants regarding any changes in their schedule. Many have turned to using online tools to communicate.

Please know that pastoral ministry and mutual care for each other continues. We encourage congregants to stay connected with each other through phone calls and messages.  We encourage congregants to contact the pastors or the church staff regarding pastoral care concerns or prayer and visit requests.  Our mutual care and support for each other becomes even more imperative during this challenging time.

May this time of anxiety be lessened by the comfort we experience in Christ, and inspire all of us to greater unity, compassion, and friendship.

In Christ’s Light,

Dan Doerrer, Pastor

SUNDAY WORSHIP
Our 9:15am Sanctuary service is based on liturgies and music from the Evangelical Lutheran Worship hymnal.
Our 11:00am Bluegrass Chapel service is more casual and has a revival feel with classic gospel music.

SUNDAY SCHOOL (for children ages 3 through fifth grade during the school year)
Children will be in worship for the greeting and first song then head to their classes (except the first Sunday of the month we call Family Sunday and children are encouraged to worship with their families).

FAMILIES WITH CHILDREN
Children are always welcome in worship. Purple “busy bags” with activities, a book, crayons and paper are available in the sanctuary and a “kid zone” in the commons area for kids interested in louder play.  We value families worshiping together and strive to be inclusive of all ages.

ACCESSIBILITY
Ramp access to the church’s main (West Broadway) entrance is available. The east entrance off our parking lot is a ground-level door with auto assist. A spacious elevator allows access to all floors of our building. Large print bulletins and assisted hearing devices are available.
